Business
Cards:
This is probably one of the most overlooked and
under valued advertising item at your disposal.
I know businesses that don't even have business
cards and I think that is just plain foolish
especially given the inexpensive cost of having
1000 cards printed. If your computer savvy you
can even print them on your own computer however
with the cost of ink and paper, it is still
cheaper to have them made.
A business card is a mini banner or mini ad and
as such you need to think of them in that way.
To make a good business card think of what you
would say in an ad about your products or
service and then put that on your business card.
Ask yourself if what is on the card would make
you call or visit? If not then reword it so it
would! If you have the printers design your
business card make sure you have input on what
it says and proof read it before they are
printed. Another trick is you can use both sides
of the card, so do!
Maybe the first side is a catch phrase or
picture with all your info and the back can be
for specifics. Here is an example of a business
card that’s two sided.

Note:
I use my P.O. Box because my business is
located on an Air Force Base and the general
public would not have access to visit my school
but you of course should use a physical address
for the location of your business if you have
one.
Ok, after you have your business cards made then
you need to get them out into the public and
here are some ideas for that.
☻Look everywhere you go for places to leave
business cards, you will find many places
such as restaurants, dry cleaners, automotive
repair shops, barber shops, salons and others
will have a spot for business cards. (So
leave yours!)
☻If you eat out or go to a coffee shop leave a
business card on the table with your tip.
☻Every company that you do business with leave
your business card. They may be interested in
your products & services or know someone who is.
☻Give out a business card to everyone who does
business with you.
☻Give your friends and family some of your
business cards and ask them to give one to
anyone they know who might be interested in your
products or services.
☻If you mail out newsletters or sales flyers
then include a couple of business cards.
With doing all the above you should be able to
get out 1000 business cards within a 3-month
period and I know MLM people who give out 1000
business cards per month. Just think about it
for a second, if you give out 1000 business
cards every 3-months you will have given out
4000 business cards in a year and that is
potentially 4000 new and return customers for a
very little expense!
